What does working at LAGMC/USC mean to you?  Working at LAGMC/USC for the past 35 years has meant everything to me — not just professionally, but personally. It’s where I’ve grown into my role as a pediatric cardiologist, taught and learned from some of the brightest minds, and had the privilege of caring for patients who remind me daily why I chose this path. And honestly — where else would I have ever been tolerated for this long? This place has embraced not just my skills, but my quirks, my questions, and my unrelenting advocacy for my patients. It’s more than a workplace — it’s home. A place where purpose, service, and heart all come together. And I’m proud to still be here, pager in hand.
